Friday SP / FP practice:
- Zagorska / Siudek (group 1): They didn't do much, just a run-through the FP without any jumps and throws. They mainly did the lifts which looked as strong as usual. They had a good speed and were the only couple of group 1 which showed up.
- Boguslavka / Brovenko (group 2): I think they practiced their SP. In the run-through they did not jump, but later they tried the triple toe, which never was clean (most of the times both had a big mistake on it) and the triple thrown salchow (I'm not sure if I remember right) which once was underrotated and on two feet and on which she once fell.
- Inoue / Baldwin (group 2): They did a run-through their FP to Pearl Harbour without most of the elements. Later they practiced one or more lifts and the doulbe axel. Even though they did not do much, they looked somehow good.
- Pang / Tong (group 3): They chose to skate their SP. They did no throws or jumps. Twice they did the double twist and they practiced their spins.
- Zhang / Zhang (group 3): Run- Through their SP aswell, I think. Again no jumps or throws. It seemed to me as if they struggled with their pairspin, which they repeated many times and of which the exit did not work so good.
- Rennik / Saks (group 4): I didn't watch until they skated a program. During the time I watched them skate, they didn't do much (no jumps, spins, throws, lifts...), but concerning their basic skating they improved, they got more speed and have a better ice coverage than before.
I went home during the practice of group 4, so I didn't see if any of the Canadian teams and the Ukrainians showed up.

- Totmianina / Marinin (1.): 3 thrown loop, 3 toe, side by side spin a little asynchronous. they got one 6.0 for presentation.

Pairs' Free Program:
- Volosozhar / Kharchenko: 3 toe (his was not clean), 2 axel (she landed on two feet)... 2 toe, 3 thrown salchow, triple thrown toe (not clean), a lift was not well done and they were slow. I guess there was a 3 twist, but I can't find it in my notes.
- Orscher / Lucash: 3 twist, 3 toe (she doubled it and he fell), 3 thrown flip (fall), 2 axel (he landed not so cleanly), 3 thrown salchow.
- Brozovic / Futas: only a double twist, 3 toe (his was only a 1 toe), 3 thrown salchow (not clean), 3 thrown toe (not clean), 2 toe (his was again a 1 toe).
- Shapiro / Akolzin: 3 toe (she didn't land cleanly), double twist, 3 thrown salchow (fall), 2 axel (his wasn't clean), side by side spin wasn't good, 2 thrown toe.
- Marcoux / Buntin: 3 twist, 3 thrown loop, 3 toe (hers was not completely clean),... 2toe, 3 toe (he fell), 3 thrown salchow.
- Inoue / Baldwin: 1 loop into a 3 toe (he fell), 3 thrown salchow (not completely clean, 2 axel ... 2 toe, 3 thrown salchow, nice lifts, 3 thrown loop (fall). The program is nice to watch, but there were too many mistakes in order to get into a higher place.
- Fitze / Rex: 3 toe ... 3 salchow (she landed on two feet), 3 twist (not well done), 3 toe (she landed on two feet), 2 thrown axel (on two feet), 3 thrown salchow.
- Lefrancois / Blanchard: 3 twist (not well done), 3 toe (she did not land so cleanly), 3 thrown loop (on two feet), 3 thrown salchow, 3 salchow (she doubled it and he fell).
- Zhang / Zhang: great 3 twist, 2 axel... 3 toe, 3 thrown loop, 3 salchow, 3 thrown salchow (not so good). Very souvereign skate.
- Zagorska / Siudek: 3 thrown loop, 3 toe... 2 toe, 3 twist, 3 toe (she fell and he doubled it), 3 thrown salchow (just so).
- Obertas / Slavnov: 3 toe (she did not land cleanly)... 2 something, 3 thrown salchow, 3 toe (not so clean), 3 thrown flip, 3 thrown loop (hand down).
- Langlois / Archetto: 3 thrown salchow, 3 toe (both did not land really cleanly), 3 twist (not so good), 2 axel, 3 thrown salchow (on two feet).
- Petrova / Tikhonov: 2 axel... 3 toe (he touched the ice with his hand), 3 thrown loop, 3 twist, 2 axel, 3 thrown salchow (on two feet).
- Pang / Tong: 3 toe... 2 axel, 3 twist, 3 throgn salchow, 2 axel, 3 thrown loop. Very good skate and nice expression. they even got one 6.0 for presentation.
- Totmianina / Marinin: 3 salchow, 3 toe- 2 toe, 3 twist, 3 thrown loop, 3 thrown salchow. I still don't like the program, it lacks connecting elements and is a little boring to watch. I would have had them behind Pang / Tong.
- Shen / Zhao: 2 axel... 3 toe, high 3 thrown salchow, 3 toe, 3 twist, 3 thrown loop, little problems with the last lift. They got twice the 6.0 for technique and 10 (!!) times for presentation. Unfortunately they were not able to get in first place because of the 4th place of the SP.
